How does the altiport work?

CVF is daylight-only, VFR-only and requires a specific crew type-rating for the sloped approach. We fly it with qualified crews or not at all.

What if CVF closes?

Chambéry plus a road transfer — under an hour to 1850. We rebook rather than push weather.

Chalet pad landings?

Some chalets in 1850 hold approved winter pads. We survey and confirm 48 hours ahead.

What happens in bad weather?

Mountain flying is VFR and daylight-only. If cloud base drops we rebook, reroute to the valley airport, or arrange a car leg. You are never charged for a weather cancellation.

What is in the price?

One-way, per helicopter, including airport taxes, handling and VAT, from our operators' winter grids. Twin-engine aircraft on request. Peak weeks can carry a premium — we confirm against live availability before you commit.
